  • RD5 is 5HP machine with a peak stroke of 2.0" and peak speeds over 40 in/sec. The RD5 uses CTW-Probe Analysis software to allow the user to create and run Tests of various velocities on one of three strokes to collect force data that is presented in various industry-standard graphs. The RD5 is a compact, lightweight tabletop machine that is designed to be structurally sound where loading is applied based on FEA analysis. Measurements are taken based on the line of actuation to ensure only the damper or specimen result is recorded.
  • RD7.5 is 7.5HP machine with a peak stroke of 6.0" (imperial) or 160mm (metric) and peak speeds to 3.0 m/sec. CTW presents the 7.5 HP damper machine. Designed to meet the market demand for more stroke and higher velocities at a reasonable price.  Initially it was for the motorcycle markets but its power and speed allow it to fit nicely into the industrial areas as well. The RD7.5 uses CTW-Probe Analysis software to allow the user to create and run Tests of various velocities on one of three strokes to collect force data that is presented in different industry standard graphs. The RD7.5 is a floor model designed to be structurally sound where loading is applied based on FEA analysis. Measurements are taken based on the line of actuation to ensure only the damper or specimen result is recorded.
  • RD10 is a 10HP machine with a peak stroke of 6.0" / 160mm and peak speeds up to 120 in/sec. CTW presents the 10 HP damper machine.  Designed for the industrial market, the RD10 will stand the test of time and damper testing.
  • The first RD20 is in production. Full specifications coming soon.
  • 2 motors and 8 inches of travel Fully Electric – Magnetic linear actuator for instant-on motion and force
  • 4 motors and 8 inches of travel Fully Electric – Magnetic linear actuator for instant on motion and force
  • 6 linear motors and 8 inches / 200 mm of travel The LA68 comes with a fully automated crossbar that allows the user to easily clamp / unclamp the crossbar and raise / lower it as well all through a keypad interface screen. It also has (2) available speeds for movement so that large distances can be moved and then a slower, finer adjustment can be made for mounting the specimen in the test area. The User will interface with the crossbar with the following keypad with access to various functions.
    • Motor Temperature monitor with active integrated cooling limits
    • Crossbar Status Indicator
      • Clamp / Release
      • Locked / unlock
    • Crossbar Position with User defined “zero”
    • Two-Speed control of movement
      • Fast for large travel adjustments
      • Slow for damper mounting
    • 1000 mm range of movement
    • 900 lbf of force available to compress / extend the specimen / damper
  • 6 linear motors and 18 inches / 450 mm of travel *When you simply need more stroke than 8 inch / 200 mm to cross all the ports in your damper, this is the machine for you.* The LA68 comes with a fully automated crossbar that allows the user to easily clamp / unclamp the crossbar and raise / lower it as well all through a keypad interface screen. The CTW SR-17 Spring Rater uses CTW-Probe Analysis software to allow the user to create and run Tests designed for developing a Rate curve of the given specimen. The User is able to test in the force or the displacement range simply by selecting the desired peak force or peak displacement. The spring is compressed and extended using a constant-velocity input so that data can be collected and viewed in both directions of motion. Various Rate graphs are supplied, Rate vs Force and Rate vs Displacement, as well as a Force vs Displacement graph are all standard. A numerical report is also standard of the software. Because data is collected in both directions, the User can also view and quantify any hysteresis in the spring, coil or elastomer. Standard system includes (2) spring platens that attach to the load cell thread on top and the actuator on the bottom. These can fit a 1” /25 mm ID spring and up to 6.375” / 162 mm OD. The upper platen can be removed by unscrewing from the load cell stud. The lower platen bolts onto the lower assembly. Options include: (1) set of ½” eyelet clevis fixtures for use with a rod end type dampers. This allows for rating the spring on a coil over assembly. Additional displacement using a string pot to be able to "spring smash"! Allows the User to get eye-to-eye lengths and loads.
