The LA HV -High Velocity- Series of Electric Linear Actuators are designed to go beyond 10.0 m/sec.
This system uses a LA68 electric linear actuator to drive a secondary actuator that is connected via a lever arm to amplify stroke and velocity. By this combination, the user has a main (low speed) side capable of 8 inches of stroke and up to 5.50 m/sec and then gains a second actuator that is capable of 18 inches of stroke and 10 m/sec. This allows for rear dampers on the LS side and forks and cartridges on the HS side.
